Crazy Machines 2 is the sequel to FAKT's first Crazy Machines game. The first one of the series had a reasonably favorable reception and pushed the developers into making the sequel. In Crazy Machines 2 you have to complete a simple task in an unusual way. This mostly means you have to create a Heath Robinson-style machine to do the job. You are given a series of objects such as gears, belts, balls, springs, ramps and the sort. With that preselected gear, you have to use your brain to solve the puzzle. The game engine relies heavily on physics, and you have to consider them in order to solve the puzzle. In all the game there are over 150 puzzles to keep you busy. Most of the puzzles are really good but some do have some issues. The main downside of the game is the graphics, which have serious problems with some video cards. The game is aimed at a specific market of puzzle solvers. To those who liked the first game, or who like solving puzzles, then the game is a perfect choice. However, trying the demo first is recommended.
